  • Design, implement, and oversee the operations of the Nutrition Department and its associated programs.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Nursing and Social Services, to ensure cohesive dietary services.
  • Conduct inspections of food storage and preparation areas to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Address any deficiencies in dietary services identified during regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in formulating dietary components of residents' discharge plans.
  • Engage with residents and their families to gather dietary histories as needed.
  • Maintain records of residents' food preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Support the development of quality control measures for food service.
  • Help create standard and specialized diet menus as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Review and ensure compliance of diet plans with medical orders.
  • Collaborate with administrative and medical staff to enhance food service programs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all dietary service areas.
