About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Content Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of high-quality technical content that supports the success of our software development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of technical writers and editors to create and maintain accurate, up-to-date, and engaging technical content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that content meets the needs of our software development teams and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical content development and implementation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with web services and object-oriented programming languages.
  • Knowledge of automation scripting frameworks and command-line tools.

Amazon is a total compensation company, and our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215,400/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
