We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing, calibrating, and administering radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs.
- Provide care and service to a diverse patient population, including critically ill, pediatric, and geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of their functional and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with the Nuclear Medicine Physician to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of nuclear medicine procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of patient procedures, including radiation doses and imaging results.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Florida State License Nuclear Medicine required.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification.
