Job Title and Responsibilities

The California State Lottery is seeking a skilled and experienced CEA and Exempt Program Manager to oversee the management of all aspects of the CEA and Exempt Program. Key areas of focus include:

  • CEA concept development, upkeep, and delegated authority management
  • Exempt position control, establishment, salary requests, recruitment, and onboarding coordination
  • CEA examination development, administration, and recruitment

This position requires a current Staff Services Manager I exam. If you need to take the exam or if your score has expired, you can find more information on the California State Lottery website.

Working Conditions and Benefits

This position is headquartered at the Lottery Headquarters in Sacramento and is eligible for a remote-based or office-based telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
