Overview:

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in the clinic's operations, collaborating effectively to assess patients and their significant others in a prompt, consistent, and systematic manner.

Responsibilities include documenting both subjective and objective information in accordance with established policies. The Medical Assistant is expected to demonstrate proficient patient safety measures and adhere to infection control protocols. This role requires working cohesively with the clinic team to achieve daily objectives efficiently.



Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Certification:
Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 6 months in a clinical healthcare setting, ideally within a primary care environment.

Certified Medical Assistant:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Certification:
Must possess an active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).

Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
