Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity setting.
Job Details- Location: Washington, District of Columbia
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 days/week
- Duration: 92 Days
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications.
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
