Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician

At Center for Elders' Independence, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and crisis interventions for our participants with complex behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify participants in need of clinical services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the primary care team and interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and monitor participants during psychiatric hospitalizations.
  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions to address behavioral health treatment needs.
  • Make referrals to outside behavioral health vendors and monitor use of services.
  • Manage assigned panel of participants with behavioral health needs and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings with participants, family members, and caregivers to provide advice on behavioral health interventions and care plan objectives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counselor; or Doctorate in Clinical Psychologist.
  • 2 years' experience providing diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy.
  • One year experience working with a frail and/or elderly population with Health Psychology model preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members.
