About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Administration Specialist to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement savings plans and paid time off.
Job Description
- Medication Administration: You will be responsible for administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner, reviewing and updating resident medication records, and ensuring accurate documentation of medication administration.
- Resident Care Communications: You will work closely with our care team to provide excellent communication and support to residents and families, attending daily cross-over meetings and participating in the development of individualized service plans.
- Risk Management and General Safety: You will partner with our community team to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, promoting risk management programs and policies, and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications may be necessary in certain states.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Able to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Written and verbal communication skills essential.
