About the Role

Floor & Decor is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, helping them find the perfect products for their projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend our products to meet their needs.
  • Provide above-and-beyond customer service, exceeding customer expectations and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with management and team members to achieve sales goals and drive business results.
  • Process customer transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Create price tags, merchandise signs, and stock merchandise to ensure a visually appealing sales floor.
  • Act with integrity, demonstrating a strong understanding of our company's core values and safety processes.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Basic math skills and customer service experience are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and working well under pressure.
  • Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
