Savannah Technical College is seeking a part-time Testing Assistant to support the Testing Center. This role will be based at the Savannah Campus, with regular travel to other Savannah Technical College locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to students, visitors, and staff.
- Coordinate logistics for testing sessions, including distributing and collecting testing materials.
- Serve as a proctor during testing sessions, ensuring a secure and fair testing environment.
- Process exam materials and test scores, maintaining accurate records.
- Enter data into BANNER software or other relevant systems.
- Maintain and order testing materials and supplies.
- Perform secretarial and clerical duties in support of the Testing Center.
- Adhere to professional practices and college policies when working with students, staff, and colleagues.
- Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and travel regularly throughout the Savannah Technical College service delivery area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of related work experience.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of insurability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in computer software and job-related programs.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, one year of experience in teaching, counseling, training, or testing is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
