Compensation
We offer an attractive salary of $68,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This competitive pay reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and ensures that our employees are fairly compensated for their hard work.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with Amedisys, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments and collaborating with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care. You will also make referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient's identified needs or document rationale for not doing so.
You will promote patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures, assisting patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques. Additionally, you will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs), complete documentation timely and accurately, and regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- One (1+) year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
