Job Description:
The Solar Electrical Superintendent will oversee coordination, planning, and supervision of forepersons, contractors, and craft activities on utility scale solar sites. This role requires superior customer service skills and a willingness to travel. The ideal candidate must be able to develop and enhance customer relationships, plan and supervise craft activities, coordinate electrical work with other crafts, and maintain liaison with engineering and planning departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise craft activities, including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, and labor budgets.
  • Cross-coordinate electrical work with different crafts, company departments, or other contractors onsite.
  • Maintain communication with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Assist in resolving construction problems and monitor compliance with project safety program requirements.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of OSHA30 certification and 3 years' supervisory experience in a power plant or heavy industrial construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise 50 or more employees and planning and scheduling experience.
  • Contract documents and site coordination of subcontractors.
  • 4-5 years previous experience as a General Foreman or 3 Years as a Superintendent in a single discipline on an industrial construction project.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
