Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Finishing Technician to join our team at SPIROL Shim Division. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various finishing processes, including washing and oiling, as well as utilizing inspection gauges and tools to ensure precision manufacturing.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The successful candidate will start at $19.55 per hour on 2nd shift and $18.70 per hour on 3rd shift, with opportunities for growth based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all finishing processes, including automatic washing and tumbling, as well as oiling.
  • Utilize inspection gauges and tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and check gauges, to ensure precision manufacturing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, including symbols, specifications, and dimensional limitations.
  • Process products in accordance with work instructions with extreme focus on details and customer requirements.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings, prints, and production routing.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment.
  • Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals, and coordinate activities in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Must be reliable and willing to work overtime.
  • Must not have sitting, lifting, or bending restrictions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass post-offer background check, drug test, and physical.
