About the Role

Ferdinand Plavidal MD is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.
  • Manage and document test results, ensuring accurate and timely processing and reporting.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
  • Current certification in diagnostic ultrasound, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Active ARRT or ARDMS license (ARDMS required in Texas).
