Responsibilities- Develop and execute design concepts for our knit and garment dye collections, including cut-n-sew, tees, fleece, pants, and graphic tees
- Conduct trend research and provide design direction seasonally and for projects
- Collaborate with our patternmaker and sample room to ensure timely and accurate product development
- Sources fabrics, washes, and trims to meet our quality and sustainability standards
- Maintain relationships with vendors and identify new ones to support our growth
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of garment dye and graphic tees
- Design new silhouettes and color palettes that align with our brand aesthetic
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet strict deadlines
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
- Contribute to merchandising efforts and develop compelling Cads and presentations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in knit design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your expertise
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in design and illustration software
- Ability to see a product through from concept to completion, with a keen eye for detail and quality
- Extensive knowledge of domestically apparel costing and production methods, with a focus on sustainability
- Experience in graphic tees is a must, with a proven track record of success
