Job Summary

A successful Attendance Tracker will work with students, families, educators, and other staff members to maintain attendance, support student responsibility in a way that will increase student success. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive personal relationships with students, and a commitment to promoting regular school attendance.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify students with excessive absences, monitor attendance daily, establish positive communication with parents/guardians, and recognize student improvement through appropriate activities. Additionally, they will be able to interface with administrators, counselors, social workers, psychologists, teachers, and other staff to increase communication and identification of potential attendance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor student attendance daily to promote regular attendance habits.
  • Establish positive and open communication between the school and parent/guardian of students.
  • Recognize student improvement through administrator-approved activities.
  • Interface with administrators, counselors, social workers, psychologists, teachers, and other staff to increase communication and identification of potential attendance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with students, parents, and other adults.

Estimated Salary Range
$38,000 - $45,000 per year.
