Role Overview

The County of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join its nursing services team. As a Healthcare Administrator, you will be responsible for leading the nursing services department, developing and implementing healthcare programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.


About the Role

This is a key leadership role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the nursing team, community partners, and other stakeholders to improve health outcomes and advance public health goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing services department to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate healthcare programs to address community needs and promote health equity
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies to advance public health goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice and public health

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • A California State Public Health Nursing Certificate
  • At least three years of public health nursing experience, including one year in a local public health or community agency
  • A Master's degree from an accredited college/university in Public Health or Nursing (may substitute for one year of experience)

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $118,161.60 - $176,872.80 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
