The ideal candidate will focus on the design, implementation, and upkeep of air filtration systems within cleanroom settings, ensuring adherence to semiconductor production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements analysis for clients, facilitating communication regarding project specifications and collaborating with both internal and external design teams on AAS projects, including process exhaust ducts and waste air treatment systems.
  • Support the design and installation of HVAC systems, including water supply, drainage, and chemical supply piping.
  • Clarify project specifications with stakeholders and ensure compliance with outlined requirements.
  • Assist the procurement team in sourcing AAS equipment and materials, as well as in the evaluation of contractor bids.
  • Interpret isometric drawings, P&ID, and CAD designs specifically related to AAS.
  • Oversee the installation of AAS systems, ensuring that all work meets quality standards and project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, materials usage, and costs, making adjustments to schedules as necessary.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage change orders effectively.
  • Generate regular reports for internal tracking and client updates.
  • Identify challenges and propose solutions proactively.
  • Manage project scheduling and execution efficiently.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical HVAC, with a preference for candidates with direct experience in AAS planning and construction.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of process exhaust duct design and scrubber mechanisms for waste air treatment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC piping systems, including water supply, drainage, and chemical handling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software such as AutoCAD and Primavera.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Effective prioritization of responsibilities based on project demands.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines while upholding a professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to work in a construction site environment.

Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin/Taiwanese is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret safety guidelines and operational procedures, as well as to compose routine reports.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in start-up operations is a plus.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer license is desirable.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates the ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as frequent movement between various areas of the construction site.
