Northwell Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Critical Care Specialist. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Cardiac Telemetry unit.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Minimum 1-year Cardiac Telemetry experience required, and Critical Care (ICU/CCU) experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Specialized certifications as needed.
