We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice.
- Collaborate with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians, and Allied Health Technicians to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, incorporating patient teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent.
- Dysrhythmia recognition, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular/pulmonary assessment, and basic knowledge of exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- Prefer ACSM certification at the Exercise Specialist level, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, or ANA Cardiac Rehabilitation certification.
