We are seeking a skilled Signal Processing, Machine Learning expert to join our team at Apple Inc.

As a member of our Sensing, Data, and Interaction Software team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative technologies that enable Human Interface Devices (HID) and Health Sensing software products.

About the Role

You will work closely with our engineering team to develop, optimize, and implement sensing algorithms and technologies. Your expertise in signal processing, machine learning, linear algebra, and statistics will be essential in creating cutting-edge solutions.

We are looking for someone with strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python, as well as experience in algorithm optimization techniques for on-device implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize sensing algorithms and technologies
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver innovative solutions
  • Apply expertise in signal processing, machine learning, and statistics to drive project success
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in developing, optimizing, and implementing sensing algorithms and technologies
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including software programming skills in C, C++, and Python
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Experience in developing customer-facing sensing technologies
  • Expertise in machine learning, neural networks, and model training and deployment
  • Data modeling, augmentation, management, and handling skills
