Personal Banker

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Banker to join our team at Wheatland Bank. As a key member of our Okanogan Branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting clients with a wide range of banking needs.

• Open new accounts, process necessary information, and educate clients on available services and products.
• Provide assistance with various customer services, including account management, safe deposit boxes, and loan applications.
• Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.
• Assist clients with opening Certificate of Deposits (CDs) and educate them on penalties and earnings.
• Provide backup support to tellers as needed.
• Set up auto transfers and sign up clients for ACH transfers and wires.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Use every customer contact as an opportunity to advise clients on additional services or programs that may benefit them.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of six months of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

You will be working in a climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise levels.Physical Demands

You will also be required to operate routine office equipment, including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
