About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist, performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in a cardiovascular setting.


You will work closely with a radiologist, performing procedures, documenting patient information, and maintaining a safe patient environment.



Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Completing procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines;
  • Identifying patients with two identifiers, documenting accurately all needed aspects of the procedure, and maintaining a safe patient environment;
  • Performing procedures with high accuracy, demonstrating appropriate knowledge of diagnostic equipment, and verifying imaging transfer to storage systems;
  • Providing accurate clerical functions, using electronic medical records, and ensuring complete documentation post-procedure;
  • Communicating with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, providing assistance, and offering ideas to support colleagues.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Vocational or technical training as a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology;
  • 2-5 years of experience in cardiovascular laboratory settings, with 2 years preferred;
  • Registration as a Technologist with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
  • BLS Tier 1 Basic Life Support certification upon hire, with ACLSBLS2AH required within 180 days.
