Hearth Hospice Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Weekend Hospice RN to provide end-of-life care to our patients and their families. This role involves responding to patient needs, conducting comprehensive assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing supportive care to patients' families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the lifeline for patients and their families, responding to their needs with empathy and compassion.
  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, providing personalized care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to agency and regulatory standards.
  • Support patients' families, guiding them in caring for their loved ones with terminal illnesses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare preferred.
  • Current RN licensure.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a medical surgical/acute care setting; hospice experience is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in EMR and other relevant software.
  • CPR certification (if required by state).
