About the Position:

Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty, and addictions. We hire people who are skilled and passionate to meet our mission through innovative outcome-based strategies that support personal and community transformation.

The overall function of this position is to support the Human Resources department in administration of leaves of absence, including FMLA/OFLA, and Paid Leave Oregon, as well as managing Worker's Compensation claims and ADA accommodations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, detailed tracking and record keeping, and adequate communication with employees and managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Employer-at-Injury Program (EAIP) to include wage subsidy, worksite modification, tools and equipment, and other resources available.
  • Act as liaison for Employee Assistance Program to coordinate onsite debriefs and other special assignments.
  • Respond to employee benefits inquiries relating to leaves, ADA reasonable accommodation requests, and worker's compensation.
