About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work on our Medical Surgical Palliative/Hospice Unit (STC-4). As a member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to work with both Hospice/Palliative and Acute Care patients, developing strong nursing skills with high acuity patients.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on pain management, symptom control, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in palliative care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
