Location: This position is hybrid, based in Lanham, Maryland. Candidates must be local to Lanham, MD or willing to relocate.

Role:

Delmock Technologies Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to help transform our federal client's organization and accelerate mission execution through emerging and disruptive technologies, innovative business models, retooled program operations, and industry-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality documentation artifacts, leveraging technical expertise and understanding of the IRS EA and ELC Agile process.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation, adhering to IRS EA enterprise standards and policies.
  • Coordinate and conduct artifact review and signature processes, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, escalating issues and risks impacting artifact completion.
  • Provide recommendations for improving the documentation process and participate in meetings/briefings directed by IRS Delivery.
  • Maintain artifacts in program SharePoint designated folders and identify stories requiring documentation updates.
  • Develop communication materials for presentation and consolidate technical content into target templates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in professional writing, developing content to align with objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and management tools, including SharePoint.
  • Experience in coordinating the display of graphics and production of documents.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and other software development methodologies.
  • Experience in consuming raw technical details and constructing appropriate documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand systems and processes and extrapolate solutions.

Clearance:

  • Active IRS MBI Clearance.
