Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Rivers Casino. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of system availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Data Center, including additional core systems that are required to be housed on site due to regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze the environment and recommend enhancements to processes, procedures, tool sets, etc. to improve performance, stability, and/or maintainability.
  • Configure and administer server and network equipment, including hardware and related software and servers.
  • Work closely with corporate to implement standards and best practices for internal/external security, mail, internet, intranet, and VOIP.
  • Monitor system performance, implement corrective action, and establish plans for future system upgrades.
  • Provide support for servers, network, and the data center.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT network experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
Physical and Mental Demands

The ideal candidate must be able to move through all areas of the casino, lift up to 30 pounds, and maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment.
