About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology to lead one of the top programs in the nation at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

The ideal candidate will primarily focus on clinical practice, with some time allocated for administrative duties. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of 3 full-time Pediatric Ophthalmologists, 3 Orthoptists, and outstanding pediatric anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Pediatric Ophthalmology program and oversee educational curriculum and clinical training.
  • Collaborate with faculty from other ophthalmic subspecialties in the medical and surgical care of children with a wide variety of ophthalmic conditions.
  • Participate in Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) care at Mount Sinai Hospital if desired.
