Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

Assist emergent patients and document accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool

Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow through with appropriate documentation

Implement appropriate nursing actions to each patient that needs to be identified

Make decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment

Discuss with and include patient an/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and documents same

Identify and appropriately utilize multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred

Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware

Previous ER and/or Acute Care experience required

BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment
