Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of patient specimens, including tissue and fluid samples, to accurately identify and classify diseases.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pathology insights into patient care strategies and overall health management.
  • Deliver prompt and precise pathology reports, ensuring detailed documentation of findings and interpretations.
  • Assist in the analysis of laboratory tests, including advanced diagnostics and immunohistochemical evaluations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in pathology methodologies and treatment options through ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Offer expert consultation and support to other healthcare professionals regarding pathology-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid medical license to practice in any U.S. State or Territory.
  • Board Certification in Pathology by the American Board of Pathology, along with current certifications in BLS and ACLS or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for or possession of an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
  • Proven expertise in surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, promoting effective teamwork in a diverse healthcare setting.
  • Experience in mentoring and teaching medical students and residents is advantageous.
