We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Mentor, Ohio. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify and address student needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Develop and implement school-wide programs aimed at promoting mental health and academic success.
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as required.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of all services provided.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the development of effective educational strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
  • Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and community organizations.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about best practices in school psychology.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of disabilities is advantageous.
