Cleaning and Restoration Technician Job Summary

As a Cleaning and Restoration Technician at Voda Cleaning and Restoration of Cleveland - Mentor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional cleaning and restoration services to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings to increase the average specialty cleaning ticket through upselling value-added products.
  • Complete accurate and timely cleaning and restoration documentation, authorizations, and customer invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations.
  • Complete the technician's daily log to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
  • Maintain inventory of related supplies to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Willingness to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
  • Accountability for maintaining company standards and adhering to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or GED) and 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, including email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
  • Highly desired certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
  • Opportunities to advance into leadership roles, such as Specialty Floor & Upholstery Cleaning Crew Chief, Water Damage Restoration Technician, and more.
