As a Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized plans that meet the unique needs of each individual, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide skills training in activities of daily living, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  2. Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence, such as planning outings and activities.
  3. Support individuals with medical, clinical, and financial needs, such as administering medications and managing finances.
  4. Transport and accompany individuals to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree or DSP Certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
  • You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
