Job Summary

Aeon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Maintenance Specialist to join our Roving Maintenance team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the general condition, preventive maintenance/safety inspections, and repairs to building systems and major mechanical equipment within your assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on boilers, building automation systems, and other equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Oversee and perform repairs to building systems and major mechanical equipment, including boilers and HVAC systems.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice, training, and development to the site maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Management: Manage small mechanical projects, collaborating with the capital team for timely completion.
  • Emergency Response: Provide emergency response support and guidance to our site teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in high-level apartment maintenance, encompassing plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, advanced HVAC, and appliance troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: C2 boiler license, EPA Universal certification, and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable with different technological platforms, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time, and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
