Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Logistics Specialist to enhance our logistics and supply chain functions. This role is vital in overseeing the movement of goods, ensuring effective transportation, and nurturing relationships with suppliers and vendors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipment preparation, packing, and material handling.
  • Safely and efficiently operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct machine repairs as necessary, with training provided.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and precise handling of products.
  • Package and process shipments in accordance with company protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure proper shipment placement.
  • Perform repetitive tasks consistently while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience in operating warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Demonstrated experience in receiving products and accurately storing shipments.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 60 lbs.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential for inventory and shipment oversight.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
