Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Triage Specialist to join our team at Conifer Medical Center. This part-time/full-time position involves working in a busy family medicine office, handling phone calls and walk-in patients, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, 2+ years of experience in a similar role, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Phone triage: assessing patient symptoms and providing guidance on next steps.
  • Triage of walk-in patients and phone calls.
  • Documenting patient information in electronic medical records.
  • Communicating test results to patients.
  • Retrieving medical records for patients.
  • Refilling prescriptions as needed.
  • Scheduling diagnostic tests.
  • Completing forms and other administrative tasks.
  • Possible assistance with care management tasks.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Strong computer skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical triage or related role.
