The Advanced Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of a physician practice. This individual oversees various administrative and operational functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice.
Responsibilities include managing caregivers, financial activities, patient relations, and regulatory compliance.
Scope: The scope of influence and complexity of the role may be defined by factors, including but not limited to:
- Expanded span of control of providers
- Expanded span of control of direct and indirect reports
- Location and geographical distance of practice(s)
- Leadership specific criteria
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Education may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Experience: 3 years of healthcare or supervisor experience unless preferred education met
