Responsibilities:

  • Configure and administer storage environments
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor Network Attached Storage (NAS) environments
  • Experience in Storage Array/NAS Performance Tuning
  • Provide technical support in storage system architect, design, integration, and system engineering process
  • Manage customer Enterprise Storage Systems operations and projects with no supervision
  • Develop an understanding of project engagement processes and partner with project teams on Conditions of Satisfaction deliverables

Qualifications:
  • Enterprise Storage Systems and Storage Area Network [SAN] Architecture and Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Fiber Channel Protocol, Internet Small Computer System Interface, Fiber Channel over Ethernet, and Fiber Connection
  • Prior experience working as a Storage Administrator or in a similar role
  • Experience managing storage for data centers and cloud-based networks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with storage hardware and software, including EMC, NetApp, and HP
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols, such as NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
  • 10+ years of work experience
  • 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total)
