We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LUXOTTICA OF AMERICA INC. As a Licensed Optician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection, measurement, ordering, and fitting of eyewear.
Key Responsibilities:- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing a voice for peers and supporting the establishment of the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.
- Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and patient requirements.
- Explore patient needs and priorities by asking open-ended questions and assist peers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions.
- Anticipate problems, explore underlying reasons, and strive to develop long-term solutions to problems, ensuring patients are satisfied and expectations are exceeded.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
- Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
- Strong basic math skills and sales skills.
- Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications.
