Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Location: San Jose, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes, leading root cause investigations, and creating quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead root cause investigations and develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address quality issues.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection reports.
  • Oversee the Bill of Materials (BOM) process and collaborate with engineering and production teams to update BOMs as necessary.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and promote best practices.
  • Assist in internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in manufacturing and quality assurance practices.
  • Monitor quality metrics and report on performance, recommending areas for enhancement.
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries.
  • Highly analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Strong ability to organize and manage documentation effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a highly motivated attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
