Program Trainer

Compudopt is committed to providing technology education and access to under-resourced youth and their communities. As a Program Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering our educational programming for youth and adult learners. This position requires a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to mission-driven work.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead training classes for elementary, middle, or high school youth, as well as parents and other adult learners, with training provided to specialize in one or more age groups.
  • Deliver programs in line with our developed curriculum, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
  • Engage with students to ensure their learning and knowledge retention, fostering a strong classroom culture through authentic relationships and consistent behavior and classroom management.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on curriculum and program revision to continuously improve the quality of our programs.
  • Collect classroom information, including attendance and metric and measurement reports, to inform program development and improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy training environment by adhering to organization standards and legal regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a classroom environment.
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Basic computer use.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in teaching/training technology, digital literacy, or STEM-related programming.
  • Knowledge in STEAM fields, particularly technology, and commitment to mission-driven work.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement population-appropriate program activities.
