Position Summary

The Tax Planning Specialist will perform a variety of tax compliance and planning activities for individuals, businesses, and trusts while providing innovative tax planning results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax compliance and planning strategies for clients
  • Conduct research and analysis on tax matters to provide innovative solutions
  • Prepare and present tax planning results to clients
  • Manage client service time budgets and ensure timely delivery of services
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed CPA (or candidate, with commitment to complete CPA exam) Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Advanced taxation degree helpful
  • 3-6 years CPA firm experience
  • Good standing with the AICPA and PICPA
  • Accounting and tax software knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks
