Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Initiatives: Lead efforts that span multiple teams, such as technology projects, process improvements, or product enhancements.

Requirements
  • A strong technologist with 7+ years of experience as a software engineer building web applications in a cloud-native environment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, with a track record of providing useful feedback on staff-level engineers' design proposals or pull requests.
  • Experience building complex full-stack systems in a major cloud platform (e.g., GCP or AWS) and having opinions on CSS frameworks, containers, and databases.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, with experience in applying processes like Kanban and Scrum.
  • Great at hiring and mentorship, with a track record of bringing talented engineers into the organization and advancing their careers.
  • Up-to-date on industry best practices and tools, with a willingness to learn new things.
  • Excited about being hands-on in a fast-moving, productive, and supportive environment.
  • Willing to pitch in wherever needed.
