Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience.
- Provide clerical support, assist in the delivery of healthcare, and perform patient care support activities at the direction of the physician/provider.
- Work in both clinical and front office functions of the practice.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificate of completion/Diploma from a medical assistant program or Certificate of completion from Guild certified medical assistant clinical education and applied learning program
- CMA-Certified Medical Assistant certification by one of the approved certifying agencies (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent
- Previous experience with an electronic health record, phlebotomy
