Key Responsibilities- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students, serving as a role model and facilitator in the learning process.
- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Apply your skills and experience to develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials, syllabi, and course assessments.
- Professional Growth and Service: Participate in and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs and services, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Student Success: Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student success, academic achievement, and career advancement.
- Clinical Experience: If working with students in a clinical setting, assume responsibility for students' safety and well-being, provide clear expectations and feedback, and utilize care planning time to direct students to available resources.
- Education: Master's degree in nursing and professional nurse licensure required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and a minimum of one year experience in the field in which they teach.
- Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as needed, as well as experience with online learning management systems.
