Key Responsibilities

  • Organizes and assigns daily tasks to the custodial staff, leading the completion of all assigned duties.
  • Follows established protocols to maintain a safe working environment, complying with OSHA, local, state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Ensures a clean and organized environment to promote the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Properly cleans and maintains cleaning equipment.
  • Performs cleaning duties in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Adheres to procedures for waste storage and disposal, transporting waste to designated areas.
  • Reports maintenance issues through appropriate channels.
  • Secures the facility, ensuring proper locking and unlocking as necessary.
  • Protects company assets and ensures their security.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in custodial services is required.
  • Experience in a supervisory or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor towards guests, clients, and colleagues.
  • Adaptable to the needs of guests.


This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Additionally, uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
