About the Role:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Educational Psychologist to join our team in the Norwalk, CT area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of students.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled School Psychologist with a minimum of 1+ years experience to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans to address students' unique needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement behavioral interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of educational plans and accommodations

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting
  • Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
