The role of a CT Imaging Specialist encompasses the execution of imaging examinations and procedures with efficiency and safety, catering to a varied patient demographic, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting imaging procedures with precision, applying critical thinking skills as required.
  • Identifying and addressing emergency situations promptly.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of medical records for all patients.
  • Correctly utilizing imaging and hospital information systems.
  • Engaging professionally with physicians, colleagues, patients, and their families.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization’s objectives.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in necessary skills and striving for continuous improvement.
Compliance Duties:
  • Complying with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural standards.
  • Adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Safeguarding the privacy of patients and team members.
  • Reporting any violations or concerns to the supervisor or Compliance Officer.
Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent - Mandatory.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program - Mandatory.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Preferred: 1 year of modality-specific experience (CT, MR, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology).

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist - Mandatory
Current BLS Certification - Mandatory
ACLS (Only required for Cath Lab) - Mandatory
