About the Role

This part-time medical assistant position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in urgent care and patient treatment. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Providing patient triage and registration services
  • Conducting point of care testing, including strep, influenza, and COVID-19 testing
  • Performing injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy, as well as dispensing medications
  • Assisting physicians with procedures and managing laboratory quality controls
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with patients and staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current certification or registration as a medical assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with weekend and evening availability
Estimated Salary

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
